Who is Max?
Max joins Nissan as Region Senior Vice President, Finance and Information Technology. He will begin his new role on September 1st 2022, reporting to AMIEO Chairperson Guillaume Cartier and will be based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France.
Specialising in Business Administration and Management with a master's degree from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milano, Max will bring a new perspective from his breadth of experience as a highly strategic business partner in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. Historically, Max has specialised in transformation and performance improvement and this expertise will inform his role at Nissan as he works in conjunction with the team to optimise shareholder value.
Max will lead on all financial activities for Nissan in the AMIEO region and aims to deliver an enhanced information system to allow the business to be ready for the future. Max will work with the Nissan team to deliver more advanced end-to-end solutions that provide speed, accuracy and efficiency to Nissan customers across various functions.

An expert in the sector with more than 25 years' experience in regional and global positions at companies including GM, Chevrolet and Cadillac Europe, Max brings with him a wealth of knowledge spanning various functions within the automotive industry.
Max has also held global positions in high profile retail and industrial corporations, bringing a diverse set of skills and business acumen to his current position.

In Max's personal time (What do you enjoy doing in your free time?)
Max's passion for cars doesn't end with business, in his personal time he enjoys collecting cars and motorbikes and spending time racing them on the track.
On the weekends Max also enjoys playing tennis and golf with his two daughters and wife.
What is your first car/ current car?
Max has fond memories of his first driving experience at the age of 18 behind the wheel of his mother's Suzuki and is now the proud owner of both a Nissan Qashqai and Nissan JUKE.
