The all-new Nissan Townstar is now available to order across Europe

PARIS – Introducing the next chapter of Nissan's comprehensive Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) offering, the all-new Townstar is available to order now.

Offered in both van and passenger variants, customers across European markets can now place their orders for each petrol-powered version. The all-new Townstar is available with a dependable 1.3-litre petrol engine – offering efficiency and power in equal measure.

The 1.3-litre powertrain is fully compliant with the latest Euro 6d-Full regulations, producing a minimum of 145g/km of CO₂ (van) and 149g/km of CO₂ (passenger) on the move, while providing more efficient fuel consumption with up to 6.4l/100km. Offering 130hp and 240Nm of torque, the unit also provides plenty of power to support businesses with their daily operations.

The versatility of the all-new Townstar van extends to the passenger version, designed from the wheels-up to help private customers negotiate the challenges of a busy lifestyle.

Customers can also drive safely with the confidence of the all-new Townstar's robust design. The passenger version has been awarded a 4 stars out of 5 Euro NCAP safety rating according to the rigorous testing protocols for passenger cars.

Offering class-leading roominess, the all-new five-seater Townstar features the largest passenger leg room (1478mm front / 1480mm rear) and shoulder/elbow room (1524mm front / 1521mm rear) in its segment. The versatile vehicle also offers highly-competitive accessibility, with front doors that open to almost 90° and convenient sliding doors offering easy access to the rear seats.

Customers also benefit from expansive luggage capacity in the vehicle, expandable from 775 litres up to 3,500 litres¹ – as well as 49.5 litres of storage space in the front and rear of the cabin.

Aligning with the all-new Townstar van's offering, the passenger version is equipped with a comprehensive suite of 20+ technology features, including LED headlamps as standard and Nissan's Around View Monitor (AVM). Unique to the segment, AVM utilises multiple cameras to generate a 360-degree view of the surrounding environment, providing drivers with peace of mind when manoeuvring in tight spaces.

Each version of the Townstar is available with Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Trailer Sway Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Hill Start Assist, Side Wind Assist and Intelligent Emergency Braking.

The passenger version also majors on customers comfort, defined by improved quality throughout the cabin. The model offers class-leading quietness inside the cabin, thanks to thicker glass and improved insulation, while ambient temperature is easily operated via the intuitive dual-zone climate control system with rear vents.
