NEW NISSAN MICRA ENGAGES REVIVED TECH TREND WITH INNOVATIVE GIF CAMPAIGN

 

Paris, September 26, 2013 - Nissan today launches a unique engagement platform to continue the concept of #Micra "GO GET IT!" attitude, embodied by an independent, sassy and intelligent woman who tackles the day positively with the new Micra and all its technologies. The campaign kicks off in United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Poland today, after an early start in France on September 16th.  

 

By this playful GIF contest, the New Micra digital platform will allow the audience to reveal and celebrate their #MicraAttitude. An animated GIF is a file containing multiple images on an animated loop, very popular on websites in the 90's and now having a revival. D2NA-DigitasLBi Paris designed and will administer the campaign.

 

Posts will be published weekly on the digital platform Micra BattleGIF showing a woman meeting a variety of challenging and often amusing situations, each post encouraging visitors to submit how they would respond by recording their emotions through their own GIF using their webcam. Open to votes, a winner will be announced for each post on the platform, as well as on the Nissan Europe Facebook page. The war of the GIFs is on!

 

The campaign will also relay the series of three content videos featuring the Micra woman wriggling out of tricky situations with humour and confidence. These videos will be linked to the digital platform.
