Nissan's drive to innovate and challenge the conventional is showcased in every aspect of the brand's 2015 Geneva Motor Show presence. Highlighting Nissan's diversity and passion to challenge every area of the automotive industry, the brand's 2015 presence combines bold new concepts, further developments of its acclaimed EV range and another unique sporting challenger that aims to rewrite the rulebook.

Taking centre stage at Geneva is the Sway. A concept conceived and developed using the same process that produced the best-selling Qashqai and Juke crossovers, the Sway has been designed to shake up the traditionally conservative B-segment hatchback sector. Using a further evolution of Nissan's unique design language, Sway offers a tantalising glimpse of how a future generation of compact Nissan could look. Combining powerful new forms with sophisticated details, the Sway places a strong emphasis on structure and form, highlighting the importance of function and Nissan's passion for intelligent, user-friendly design.

Nissan's presence at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show highlights the brand's leadership in two key areas of the market - electric vehicles and crossovers. Having already established itself as a sector pioneer with the LEAF, Nissan is extending its zero emissions line-up with the world premiere of the new e-NV200 Evalia - a seven-seat variant of the successful e-NV200. Designed and engineered to meet the growing demand for larger electric vehicles with the ability to carry seven passengers, the e-NV200 Evalia is another example of Nissan setting the benchmark in a sector that is set to expand significantly. Equipped with an advanced and versatile seating system that allows owners to adapt load space according to their needs, the e-NV200 is available with the CHAdeMO quick charging system that provides access to the most widely installed rapid charging system in Europe today with over 1,500 accessible points.

Nissan's leadership in the EV market is further illustrated with the unveiling of a special edition LEAF model that celebrates the model's fourth consecutive year as the world's best-selling electric car.

The brand's continued success in the crossover sector is also marked at Geneva with the appearance of the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail - the most complete range of crossovers available anywhere on the market. From the Juke, which appears at Geneva with its latest evolution - the range-topping NISMO RS, to the multi-award-winning Qashqai, Nissan's crossover line-up continues to highlight Nissan's innovative spirit and challenging approach to design.

The same desire to embrace new thinking is also evident in Nissan's motorsport ambitions. 2015 marks the brand's return to the endurance racing at the highest level with the global show premiere of the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO. Designed to compete in the flagship LMP1 category, the front-engined, front wheel drive GT-R LM NISMO is powered by a V6 3-litre twin turbo petrol engine and a kinetic energy recovery system. The striking new car, which offers a radical new interpretation of the sport's technical regulations will be raced throughout the 2015 World Endurance season - a series that includes the iconic Le Mans 24hr race in June.

Nissan's presence at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show marks a remarkable 12 month period for the brand, during which its has launched 12 new cars in Europe and set an annual sales record of more than 724,000 units in Europe. The brand continues to experience surging demand for its crossover models and is committed to shaping the future of mobility, with significant investment into pioneering technologies that will bring autonomous cars to market by 2020.

Nissan can be found at Geneva in Hall 4, stand 4150.

The press conference and Sway unveil will be at 11.30am CET.
