Samar Elmnhrawy, has more than twenty years of human resources and business leadership experience in mid-size and large companies.
Ms Samar Elmnhrawy was appointed Vice President, Human Resources and General Affairs for Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania region (AMIEO) on 1st October 2020. Prior to this role, Samar was HR Vice President for Africa, Middle East, India (AMI) where she successfully led the Human Capital strategies of the region along with the HR Transformation journey in Nissan.
Ms Elmnhrawy has served in various management and leadership roles at international companies and federal organizations, in the field of HR, operations line management, and business development, she worked in multiple international locations, such as Houston, Dubai, Amsterdam and Cairo.
Prior to Nissan, Ms Elmnhrawy was the Executive HR VP, at Baker Hughes, a GE company. Her most recent roles included the positions of Vice President of Merger & Acquisition for the merger of Baker Hughes and GE Oil & Gas, HR VP of Global Operations and VP HR transformation and digitalization. Her expertise is in developing and implementing business transformation strategies aligned to the business short term plans and long term vision, with clear outcomes and ROI. Her passion lies in enabling the organization to achieve its ultimate potential through aligned strategy with key stakeholders, clear vision, engaged & competent employees, empowered leaders and high performing HR teams.
Ms Elmnhrawy holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with honors and a Masters of Business Administration with honors from American University of Sharjah. She holds numerous academic certificates and memberships.
