New Juke - setting new standards for compact crossovers

Packed with the same innovative thinking that helped the original redefine the B-segment, the Nissan Juke appears at Geneva featuring its broadest and most comprehensive ranges ever. Delivering low running costs thanks to an engine range that includes a new DIG-T 115PS turbocharged petrol engine and significant upgrades to other units, the new Juke has been a big hit with buyers following its showroom arrival across Europe last summer.

At the sporting end of the new line-up, the powerhouse Juke NISMO RS appears at Geneva just weeks after arriving in European showrooms. The latest model to join Nissan's acclaimed NISMO road car range, the 218PS NISMO RS is the sportiest and most focused Juke yet, with a host of race-inspired design and engineering features.

And it's not just the sporting flagship model that benefits from Nissan's drive to empower drivers with new technology. The brand's acclaimed and highly advanced NissanConnect driver-vehicle interface, Nissan Safety Shield, Dynamic Control System and panoramic sunroof are all available further down the range, bringing premium-level features within reach of all buyers.

New Qashqai - more choice and more accolades for Nissan's best-seller

Nissan's best-selling model in Europe continues to set the standards in the sector it created more than eight years ago. Launched across all Nissan markets during 2014, the new Qashqai has built on the strength of its predecessor, enjoying strong demand from customers across the world.

Key to this success has been the Qashqai's advanced safety systems - cleverly networked together to form the Nissan Safety Shield. Designed to offer maximum protection to both occupants, other road users and pedestrians, the Qashqai's Safety Shield technology proved its effectiveness during the car's assessment by independent testing organisation Euro NCAP. Thanks to an impressive performance in all key impact and protection tests, the organisation named the Qashqai as the safest small family car on the market, having scored more points than any other car tested.

The new Qashqai appears at Geneva with its broadest range to date, with Nissan having recently added an advanced new DIG-T 163PS petrol engine to the line-up. Fully compliant with strict EURO6 emissions regulations, the new 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit combines sharp performance with low CO2 output and exceptional fuel economy. The new unit develops 163PS (120kW) of power at 5,600rpm and 240Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,000rpm. These impressive figures highlight Nissan's downsizing philosophy and prove that you don't need a large capacity to deliver strong acceleration and in-gear flexibility.

Produced at Nissan's world-renowned Sunderland (UK) factory, the new Qashqai appears at Geneva having recently passed the two million-unit milestone. This significant event further highlights the ongoing global appeal of the Qashqai.

New X-Trail - taking driving adventure to a new level

Launched across Europe in 2014, the new X-Trail perfectly embodies Nissan's spirit of adventure. The X-Trail combines Nissan's acclaimed 4x4 heritage with fresh ideas and technologies inspired by the brand's ground-breaking crossover models. Together they form a car that redefines expectations in the compact SUV segment.

Like all Nissan crossover models, the X-Trail has incredible strength in depth. Its comprehensive safety features - networked together to form the Nissan Safety Shield - have already proved their effectiveness. Independent testing organization Euro NCAP awarded the X-Trail its highest five-star safety record following tests last October - a result that means all three Nissan crossover models have five-star safety ratings.
